I became a dentist because I like working with my hands and I love helping people.
My goal at Downing Street Dental is to build a patient-centered dental experience for people in the Denver area. I want to change people’s opinions about what going to the dentist can be like and improve the standards of care that people expect from a dentist’s office.
It’s important to me that every patient who walks through my door has the best possible experience and leaves happy enough to recommend it to their friends. The care I provide to everyone is nothing short of what I’d want for myself. I believe that if I take great care of my patients, the business side of my practice will take care of itself.
At my practice in south Denver, I provide general dental services to people of all ages who visit my practice and specialize in cosmetic and emergency dental services. Improving people’s smiles, boosting their self-confidence, and taking care of families as they grow is extremely rewarding – and something I’m really good at.
Beyond general dental care, I provide cosmetic services such as veneers and whitening, and restorative care like fillings, crowns, and bridges. I treat patients of all ages and particularly enjoy taking care of kids’ teeth and helping them start healthy habits at a young age. Whenever necessary, I provide emergency services to patients in need and can help alleviate any tooth pain quickly. Many of my regular patients first found me because they were in extreme pain, needed immediate help and saw that I offer emergency services. I know from their return visits that I provide great care because they keep coming back and don’t have anxiety about visiting me.
Winning my patients trust is important to me because it is how I am able to provide them with the best possible care and how I know I’m practicing dentistry in the right way – with plenty of personalized attention, gentle hands, and a wide variety of services all under one roof.

In his free time, Dr. McLain enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and their two French Mastiffs. When he’s not home, you can find him doing modified crossfit, snowboarding, and hunting for great live concerts.

Dr. McLain has a unique background in business that he leverages to constantly build a better practice. He’s passionate about providing state-of-the-art care and staying on top of the latest technologies and therapies so he can offer them to his patients. To do that, he commits himself to dozens of hours of continuing education every year.
